The Jedermann AG is a well-established family-owned company in the third generation and has more than 50 years of experience in the development and production of high quality lighting technology. This includes various kinds of lamps, reflex reflectors and electronic modules.

Over the last couple of decades, the former injection-moulding factory was complemented by the addition of several manufacturing methods and other in-house solutions. By now, substantial know-how has been accumulated in the areas of injection moulding, mould manufacture, different crimping methods, ultrasonic welding, hotmelting, cable manufacture, electronics production, potting, vacuum metallization, laser processing and several assembly methods.

On a production and storage area of almost 3,000m² all required manufacturing methods can be found. That is why, the development, production and assembly can all be conducted under one roof. By the implementation of short information paths, flat hierarchies, a modern enterprise resource management and high storage we are flexible and can implement a wide variety of customer requirements in the shortest possible time. This makes us to one of the leading light technology experts.

We have brought together all production steps of lighting tech under one roof. As an expert, we achieve a high degree of independence and flexibility. In addition to that, we also try to purchase all components and materials from German or European
suppliers in order to guarantee a high degree of supply chain security.

Flat hierarchies and short information paths enable us to carry out customer-specific adjustments without any trouble. Due to high stock levels of semi-finished products we are capable of manufacturing and delivering customer orders on short notice.

High quality standard

By the combination of high degrees of manual labor and automated production, we are capable of constantly monitoring the quality of our products. In case of deviations, we are able to make adjustments immediately in order to guarantee our high quality standard.

In 1970, Kurt Jedermann founded the company Spritzgusswerk Kurt Jedermann in Heftrich as an injection moulding company

Since 1982 we construct and manufacture injection moulds in our in-house mould construction. Over time, we have expanded the department and nowadays manufacture all of our injection moulds in-house.

In 1994, Kurt founded the company Kunststofftechnik Jedermann GmbH in Hausbay in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Since 1995 we develop and produce vehicle lights that in the meantime became our main revenue driver.

In 1998, the company Spritzgusswerk Kurt Jedermann moved to Hausbay and changed its legal form to Jedermann AG. Moreover, Frank Jedermann was appointed to the Board of Directors of both companies.

In 1999, we added another hall to our factory building to increase our capacities.

In 2005, we started with the assembly of PCBs by the integration of our own SMD assembly line. By doing this, wesignificantly increased our flexibility.

In 2011, Kurt Jedermann died. Since his passing, his three sons Frank, Hartmut and Michael lead the company together.

In 2012, we have added the vacuum metallization as a new department to our company.

In 2016, the CZECH subsidiary ADVELIS s.r.o. was founded in Kačice.

In 2017, the companies Jedermann AG and Kunststofftechnik Jedermann GmbH were merged into Jedermann GmbH.

At the beginning of 2020 we have purchased our first laser station. In addition to a CO2 laser we also own a YAG laser.

In 2022, Jens and Kristin Jedermann were appointed to Managing Directors. Furthermore, the Jedermann GmbH changed its legal form to Jedermann AG.

1970
